My very, very high effort meme. In my opinion, this meme shows the future of the political struggle for gay American s, based off the current political situation in the United States . You see, in the US, we have 3 factions in politics. You have the right, a semi-monolithic cult that wishes to uphold “family values” and patriarchy all so billionaires can profit off the persecution of minorities. I hope that is not a controversial statement in this class. Then of course, you have the left, a much more fractured faction filled up with all the people who meet the bare minimum of at least thinking persecution and authoritarianism are a bad thing . Because of its cult like status, we do not see much of a shift from the right to the left, with America staying “polarized” as a result .
